I am a mixed media artist because I like the variety and challenges that come with all the different mediums – watercolor, acrylics, collage, marbling, fiber, paper, and a mixture of several at once.
My journey began with studies at the Fort Worth Art Museum with a focus on oil painting. From there I moved into water colors and began studying with noted artists such as Edgar Whitney and Ed Betts.
For many years, I've had the pleasure of sharing my passion for all mediums with both children and adults through classes and workshops across the country.
My current interests lie mainly in marbling and miniature art. Much of my time is spent at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts, where I volunteer and teach.
